Jasper Morrison has been working along with Samsung for some years now, this is one of the latest developments in that relation and for the look of it this partnership with Samsung is working better that the one he previously had with Rowenta. Although he designed a series of delicate and appealing products for them they encountered many difficulties when placed on the market due to technical flaws and most were taken out of production.
Design is always a team effort, so is hard to predict a good outcome when one of the parts involved fails to deliver.
However for me from all his work his electronic appliances seem the ones more able to raise the stakes concerning familiarity, they’re very intuitive to use and are truly designed for a human scale but also integrate the human conscience.
